Halfway through the round-robin, the School of Accountancy and Business Management Men’s Volleyball Team (SABM MVT) bounced back from its unfortunate three-game win streak termination from the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) through the annihilation of the School of Computing and Information Sciences (SCIS), 2-0, on October 23 at the Prince Benhard Gym, securing its 4th victory in the Intramurals.
Commercians Daniel Mallare and Ferdvick Reyes charged their team to batter an already impaired SCIS with a no-show from open spiker Jimmy Ramirez.
SABM’s collective play maneuvered a flawless first set with six consecutive points at the start and a highest 10-point lead on SCIS, 25-15, but rough executions and errors brought a narrow margin to an intense deuce, ending at 30-28.
The School of Law (SOL) is lined up as SABM’s next opponent for its sixth game on the road to the semis, October 28.
