The Bardilleranz Calisthenics captured the championship title in the recently concluded School of Accountancy and Business Management (SABM) Got Talent held at the Devesse Audio-Visual Room (AVR), March 24.
The group which emerged victorious out of 18 competitors was composed of Marvincent Mendoza, Joseph Halog, and Jordan Arellano. They showcased a combination of dance and calisthenics exhibition which promotes health through rhythmic physical exercise during the competition.
On the other hand, Josa A. Eco Cruz clinched the first runner up and Penelope Ann B. Medrano landed second runner up.
3rd Year Vice-Mayor Crizza Ducusin, Chairman of the event, said that the affair aims to showcase the different God-given talents of the SABM community and to inculcate two of the core values which are creativity and competence. SABM Got Talent was also conducted in preparation for the Louisian Got Talent to be held on April 24.
Ducusin commends the talents of the students of SABM. She also appreciated the support she received in making the event possible and hopes that the next set of KASAMA/SSC-SABM assembly will continue holding the competition.
“Napakita ng Pamilya Komersiyo na talentado talaga sila. Sana mapagpatuloy ang SABM Got Talent ng susunod na assembly sa amin. Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng tumulong sa event lalong-lalo na sa mga nagregister, nanood, at sa committee ko.” she closed.
Proclaimed winners of the competition received cash prizes of Php1, 200.00, Php800.00, and Php500.00, respectively.
The judges during the completion were Associate Dean for Business Administration, HTM and Entrepreneurship April M. Gumnad; Donna Marie Gonzales of the Student Affairs Office; SABM Assembly Vice-Governor Julius Alexander P. Alangdeo, and SABM Chorale Adviser Joey Soliman, Jr.
