“I think para maging CPA, given nang kailangan ng skills, capabilities, and technical knowledge, but more especially on honesty and personality. I believe that SLU didn’t just give us sufficient knowledge on accounting, law, or on our subjects na expected natin for the board exam. Moreover, they gave us lessons on the proper attitudes to become a good CPA. Not only to become a CPA, but a good one, one that has competence, kind heart, and integrity.” – Acance

Aral, dasal, at konting landi.” – Malana

Sabi naman ni Sir Espeñilla sa atin, na prayer niya before exams, ‘Lord, please let us accept the things that we can’t change, and give us the courage to accept the things that we can’t change.’

‘Pero ako Lord, I only have plan A, and I want to become a CPA’. My learning from that experience is that we have our plans, but God has a better plan for us.” – Mapile

Inapply ko talaga ang sinabi ni Ma’am Castillo, na kapag magbo-board exam, dapat ang target mo parati is 80% and above. Thank you, Ma’am. Kasi isinapuso ko iyon.” – Terrado

– Ecle

178.JPG

Huwag ninyong susukuan ang pangarap ninyo. Go lang ng go. Kumbaga kung mahina ka sa isang part, i-compensate mo on the other, kasi pangarap mo iyon. Huwag mong susukuan, ilaban mo pa rin. Huwag na huwag kang mag-quiquit sa journey, kasi in the end it would turn your life around.” – Nonat

– Togmoy

“Eliminate all the doubts in your mind, but just trust and believe. Trust in the process, trust that you are here, or you are in this part of your life where you have done something. You have to trust the people in your life, you have to trust your instructors and your reviewers.” – Aliping

Everyday pasalamatan natin sila.” – Malaya

“The working scholarship program of SLU taught me really well on how to deal with people, and on how to balance my studies and work.” – Rivera

“C.P.A., these were not the letters that I first have gone off that I would have as a title to be included in my name. Well, though my grades were low, I didn’t really care. Because I believe that a grade is just a number, and it will not dictate my capabilities. I know that I can do much more, it’s just that I lack focus and action. I was lazy. Even if you didn’t graduate with Latin honors, even if you failed to enter the dean’s list, or even if you failed subjects, you can still achieve great things. Because in the end, it’s all about your determination, your persistence, your commitment to your goals, believing in yourself, and your faith in God.” – Bango
