WOMEN’S DIVISON: SABM vs. SNS
SABM Women’s Basketball team subjugated the game against SNS, 56-28 in favor of SABM.
The first quarter of the game was a Ferris wheel ride with both teams exchanging shots ending 16-13, SABM in the lead. SABM committed many errors in the beginning giving the opponent 9 points from the free throw area.
In the second quarter, SABM players have warmed-up and widened the gap only allowing the opposing team to advance with 2 points ending at 29-15.
The atmosphere intensified as the second half began with many players falling on the floor and many fouls called. In spite of these excruciating events, SABM players were able to steal the ball and shoot concluding it double of the opponent’s score.

MEN’s DIVISION: SABM vs. SON
SABM basketball team scored an overwhelming 100-58 victory over SON in the elimination match, Wednesday.
Maynes Acance led the first quarter with a dashing 10 points for the team
SON closed the gap in the second quarter and gave SABM a better challenge until the end of third quarter. Alexon Mapano Sitchon fired three triples on his way to 13 points and the team entered the break with a 67-50 lead.
SABM continued to pound Nursing Basketball team in the fourth quarter and come end, the victory was sealed with a bold 42 lead.
Acance finished with 24 points and earned the title top scorer of the game.
Sitchon and Justin Lagoy Noblado likewise finished in double figures for SABM with 19 and 18 points respectively.
It was SABM’s second win in the elimination round. SABM Men’s Basketball team last game will be on November 15, 2017 against SNS.
